Making a reformed society is much associated with the type of formation it's young citizens get. The recent developments in the various parts of our country and also in many parts of the world raise the question in every one's mind - "whether the human values are being eroded from the heart of our society and are filled with hatred and prejudice in their worst kind?" when the society is marred with violence, and the love and compassion has been lost from among the members, the society is put down to ruin rather than aspiring for new heights. Therefore, it is the need of the hour to form the young minds giving importance to values and principles. There can be differences in a diverse society but a reformed society would find amicable solutions to various issues by giving importance to the principles of tolerance and mutual developments.
With this vision in mind and heart, we the Dominican Sisters of the Presentation would like to start a school in this area to aim at the integral development of the personality of every child to make him/her committed to the service of God and to the nation and to instill in them a spirit of compassion, unselfish service, dedication to duty, love for the fellow human beings, thirst for excellence and wisdom.
Education of the youth is one of the most important apostolates in today's world. We believe and base our educational vision upon God's love which alone can make the human heart grow. To train up young people to open themselves out to God's Love means, to help them to overcome their self love, to be sensitive to the needs of others and to come to the fullness of their human being. God's love alone instills into their hearts balance, serenity, peace and joy. Education is a work of love indeed! It is achieved through the respect and the love we have for the youngsters entrusted to our care. We believe that true education is rather the work of the heart than of the mind.
